Effective April 16, 2020
Silicon Valley Tactical LLC (“SVT”) respects your privacy and is
committed to protecting your personal information. SVT is dedicated to providing you
with superior customer service, and your privacy is viewed as an important part of your
customer experience. SVT provides this Privacy Statement (“Statement”) to inform you of
SVT’s Privacy Policy and how that information is used. By accessing www.siliconvalleytactical.com (“Website”) you are acknowledging and accepting this Statement.
1. Sites covered by this Statement
This Statement applies only to SVT owned websites and domains including SVT emails, and other electronic communication between you and the Websites. The Websites provide links to third-party sites for your convenience. If you access those links, you will leave the Websites. SVT does not control those sites or their privacy practices, which may differ from this Statement. SVT does not endorse nor make any representations about third-party sites. This Statement does not cover the personal data you choose to give to unrelated third-party sites. SVT encourages you to review the privacy policy of any company before submitting your personal information.
2. Information covered by this Statement
Personal Information is information that may be used to personally identify a user, including (but
not limited to) name, postal address, email address and telephone number. Once you choose to
provide SVT with personal information, you can be assured it will be used only to support your
customer relationship with SVT. The trust you place in SVT is taken very seriously. SVT will not sell,
rent or lease your personal information to others.
Non-personal Information is data about usage and service operation that is not associated with
a specific personal identity. SVT collects non-personal data on internal servers that may include
the pages visited on the Websites, unique URLs visited within the Websites, browser type, and
IP address. SVT collects and analyzes non-personal information to evaluate how visitors use the
Website.
3. How your information is kept secure
SVT is committed to protecting the information you provide. To prevent unauthorized access or
disclosure, to maintain data accuracy, and to ensure the appropriate use of the information, SVT
has in place appropriate physical and managerial procedures to safeguard the information
collected. SVT uses Secure Sockets Layer (“SSL”) encryption when collecting or transferring
sensitive data such as credit card information. SSL encryption is designed to make the
information unreadable by anyone but SVT. This security measure is working when you see
either the symbol of an unbroken key or closed lock (depending on your browser) on the bottom
of your browser window. Credit card numbers are used only for processing payment and are not
used for other purposes.
4. Changes to this Statement
If there are updates to the terms of this Privacy Statement, SVT will post those changes and
update the revision date in this document, so you will always know what information is being
collected online, how it is being used, and what choices you have.
